Is Libya safe?

The short answer to this question is simply YES.

However, the longer answer is … the environment in Libya can be volatile seeing as there is no clear centralized power structure. With the fall of Gadafi and a long complicated 10 years since, small power struggles are not rare.

Our job is to make it possible for you to forget that and enjoy where you are, an untouched paradise on the Mediterranean with a rich history stretching back thousands of years.

Why travel with IntoLibya?

Our name “Into Libya” means “you are Libya” when said in Arabic; crafting unique experiences for our guests is in our DNA.

You are not a client in our world, you are a guest and we are your hosts.

What payment methods do you accept?

At the moment we can only accept Paypal and direct bank transfers. In the future we’ll allow you to pay via credit card processing companies such as Stripe.

Where are you located?

Our HQ is located in Tripoli, Libya with partners scattered throughout Libya.

Can I receive a refund?

Any trips that do not take place for whatever reason will be subject to our refund policy.

Is there any age ristrictions?

YES! We can not accept anyone under the age of 18 traveling solo at the moment.

Exceptions can be made, but compromises in how the tour operates will need to be reached with a guardian along with written consent amongst other details that would need to be organized.

Will I have access to Wi-Fi?

Throughout 90% of the trip you will have a solid 10mbs (up & down) connection, however that is subject to availability as we rely on existing infrastructure which can fail from time to time when outside the captial.

What camera equipment is allowed?

While we encourage bringing professional grade equipment to Libya in order to create unique content. We highly suggest you run everything by us first, walkie talkies or gear of similar capability for example are highly prohibited.

The worst case scenario is that we store your gear at the airport for you to pick up when you leave.

We don’t want that to happen, so please reach out and don’t make assumptions about drones and other high tech gear as the details dictate the verdict.
